Pros and cons of LiveOne Music app for iPhone and iPad

LiveOne Music app good for

Better than Spotify and Sirius, less expensive to have too! I like it and strongly recommend it. Ive had mine for years.

Have always loved Slacker, great app, great service, better than Google Play. Love how you can ban an artist. Only complaint I have is I disagree with the app playing video ads, that is very distracting while driving, I cant believe they are getting away with that.

Love the app. Just wish it was a lot cheaper for the full version

Listen to it streaming to my Sound system every day. Best App I have.

Ive got the free version and its wonderful. The ads arent so frequent that Im motivated to upgrade and the various shows and stations always have something I want to hear. Never boring!

....maybe make it a little easier to go back a few tunes, and listen again....

Some bad moments

Way too many adds. App will randomly skip songs too and then you run out of skips and get more adds. Use Spotify or 8 track instead

I fall somewhere between 1-2 stars for this. I am incredibly disapointed with the number of ads on this thing. Often after only 2 songs, sometimes after only 1 song! The same ads over and over. It does not help that half the adds taunt you by sayine "Do you find this ad annoying? if so, just give us money..." The content is OK... for that I give them 2 stars... but have I mentioned the ADs? Sheesh!

At first I was okay with the ads between 2-3 songs but with the new update the app will pause playback until you open the app and there will be a 30second app for a game or other shitty app... it is now a nightmare to listen..

Useless update after a long wait. Why cant I view/select from my 200 offline albums by artist? Lets see, what was the name of that 1930s Duke Ellington album I downloaded last week? Hey Slacker, ever looked for a CD in a music store? How were they organized?

I installed Slacker as an alternative to iHeart as it is supposed to have DJ curated stations. What I got were a lot of remixes and even one Karaoke track. How is this DJ curated? Went back to iHeart.

I have paid for the premium top notch slacker for about 9-10 mints and it has done nothing but gotten worse. I pay so I dont have to listen to duche bag Djs yet here I still hear them on all the slacker made stations . There is recently a lot of claimed connection problems when I have other apps that stream seamlessly. And now there is a lot of artists copyright so you cant play certain songs or artist only stations. Will cancel and take my money elsewhere
